	News 26.01.2012: Annual Sika Distribution Partners' Meeting 2012 On 26th of January Sika Ukraina organized Annual Sika Distribution Partners' Meeting. Our Builder Merchants and Parquet Dealers were invited. The target of the meeting was to share the impressions and conclusions of Sika Company from 2011 with our partners. BU Contractors and BU Concrete have done this together with BU Distribution. Also we tried to bring them updated technical and commercial information. The Technical Department has given theoretical overview of the Sika flooring systems and shown their real application. At the end of the day our partners could discuss various issues and get to know one another better in informal atmosphere . 03-04.03.2011: The seminar on the subject: “Sika® admixtures for the Ukrainian concreete market” "Sika Ukraina" organizes the seminar for it’s partners on the subject "Sika® admixtures for the Ukrainian concreete market" which will take place on March, 3-4, 2011 in Bucha, Kiev region. The seminar purpose is to introduce all spectrum of concrete admixtures which are offered by Sika to the Ukrainian concrete producers, and also the experience of these admixtures application in Ukraine and abroad. In conclusion of the seminar the discussion will be held. All participants of the seminar will receive Sika certificates and Sika materials and systems technical information. 01.12.2010: Sika Ukraina central office move Sika Ukraina company would like to inform it’s partners and clients about address changing. From 13th December the company central office will be located in Kiev, Smolnaya str. 9b. 18.11.2010: “Leroy Merlin” opening in Kiev On November, 18, 2010 French supermarket “Leroy Merlin” was opened in Kiev, in Polyarnaya str. 17. Sika materials are presented in a wide range and provided with professional samples in this supermarket. Concern “Leroy Merlin” is a Sika’s worldwide partner. We are looking forward to an effective cooperation of “Leroy Merlin” and Sika in Ukraine as well. 27.01.2010: The seminar on the subject "Application of SikaTack® Panel adhesive system for panels installation of ventilated facades on buildings" On January, 27th "Sika Ukraina" held a seminar on the subject "Application of SikaTack® Panel adhesive system for panels installation of ventilated facades on buildings". The bright presentation with practical application of the given system has been presented to representatives of companies from Kiev, Kharkov, Lvov, Lugansk and other cities. Participants of the seminar have shown a great interest as well to other Sika materials used in buildings with translucent designs and buildings facades. Ventilated facade is the ideal decision for panelling external surfaces of buildings (facades) for new constructions, reconstruction or major repairs. The application of modern materials on ventilated facades allows to change the external shape of a building and to give it a unique view. 26.01.2010: LLC "Sika Ukraina" continues acquaintance of Ukrainian building materials market to the news in the field of construction chemicals On January, 26th, 2010 «Sika Ukraina» has organised the annual meeting for partners-distributors of construction chemicals from all regions of Ukraine in Kiev. The main purpose of the meeting was to present our partners new economic, practical and modern Sika solutions in the field of concrete admixtures, sealing and flooring materials; and to show their application. Thus, the company contributes to the development of the construction market in Ukraine and to the improvement of builders’ professional skills. At the end of the meeting certificates of participation in the training have been given out, and also the best companies have been awarded by diplomas and prizes for their contribution to Sika’s development in the Ukrainian market and successes in the field of active sales of Sika materials. LLC «Sika Ukraina» is planning to organize similar meetings in the future, with the purpose of knowledge transfer on modern solutions and the improvement of professional skill of our partners. 24.07.2009: Now you can buy Sika materials not far from the head office On 16th, July the builders shop “Kub Tsenter” started to sell Sika materials. Address: Smolycha str., 4. phone: 8044 587 84 27. 22.07.2009: New material: SikaBoom® S Sika Ukraina enlarged its product range with a polyurethane foam - SikaBoom® S. We already have first positive responses from builders, who stress the quality of the foam. It is fast curing and can be easily applied even at low temperatures (+5º). The selling price in shops is 37.20 UAH incl. VAT. Ask in the shops of your city! 20.07.2009: New material: SikaSeal®-100 In order to support the range of waterproofing products Sika Ukraina has introduced SikaSeal®-100, a one-component cement based waterproofing coating. This qualitative material is used for the protection of concrete structures, basement walls, water tanks, etc. The selling price in shops is 126.00 UAH incl. VAT. Ask in the shops of your city! 18-20.05.2009: The internal practical works for Sika employees From 18th till 20th May 2009 a practical training on «Screed application» took place in Kiev. During the training the employees of «Sika Ukraina» step by step learnt doing a quality screed using Sika admixtures. The theory about surface preparation and quality, components dosage and mortar application was used in practice. Having done the whole process by themselves, the sales managers of our company feel confident to apply their knowledge to consult customers and show them the Sika technology. 27.04.2009: Official Sika Ukraina website renovation Sika Ukraina is happy to inform our partners and customers about the new style of our official website. Our employees developed not only a new menu, which will make searching easier, but improved the whole map of the website, filling it with detailed information about the work of our sales departments. Many scientists, planners and civil engineers from all of Ukraine are invited to discuss this subject. Theoretical and practical presentations on the application of modern technologies and materials, both for repair and new construction of bridges and overpasses, will be given to our partners. 12-13.02.2009: Sika concreete admixtures seminar Sika – the world leader on manufacture of concrete admixtures and construction chemicals, invites its partners to take part in a seminar on the subject « Sika’s new technologies for concrete producers» which will take place on February, 12-13th, 2009 in Kiev. The main purpose of the seminar is to introduce the whole range of Sika concrete admixtures, present new materials and to share our practical experience with our partners. 22.01.2009: Waterprofing systems and concrete admixtures seminar On January, 22nd, 2009 Sika Ukraina organises a seminar on waterproofing systems and concrete admixtures. We invite you to visit our stand J12 in pavilion 3. 03-07.11.2008: The internal seminar From 3rd till 7th November 2008 an internal seminar on «Sales Techniques» took place in Kiev. During the seminar the employees of «Sika Ukraina» received interesting and helpful information regarding the promotion of materials in the market, sales organisation, marketing analysis, etc. After this seminar, the sales force of our company is confident to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice. 24-25.09.2008: Sika’s internal seminar in Zaporozh’e The annual seminar for Sika employee’s was held in Zaporozhe on September, 24th -25th. The seminar included presentations on Sika materials which were successfully applied in Zaporozhe’s football stadium, as well as on the construction and operation of the Dneprovskaya Hydroelectric Power Station. Sika’s employees got to know a lot about the history of Zaporozhe and spent an unforgettable time on Khortitsa island. 22-25.05.2008: XVI Kiev International auto show SIA 2008 On 22-25th of May, XVI Kiev International auto show SIA 2008 will take place at the territory of International Exhibition Centre (pr. Brovarskoy, 15). Sika-Ukraina invites you to visit our stand in pavilion 2 (sector “industrial chemistry”), where our representatives will present you sealing, bonding and dampening materials used in the Transport Industry. 09-11.04.2008: Power engineering meeting SIKA-2008 From 9 – 11th April 2008 Sika Ukraina is organizing a seminar in Kiev themed «Sika system solutions for the repair and protection of constructions in power engineering». The seminar will highlight the experience in the repair of power engineering projects in Ukraine with the use of Sika materials and technologies. Special attention will be given to the repair of cooling towers, chimneys and hydraulic engineering. Sika specialists will talk about economic efficiency in the use of modern materials and solutions. Business partners, planners and representatives of the power energy sector are invited to this dialogue. 12-15.03.2008: All-Ukrainian building forum From 12th till 15th March 2008 the All-Ukrainian building forum «Architecture and permanent construction» will take place in Donetsk. Roofing – 2008» The III International exhibition “Windows. Doors. Roofing – 2008” will be organized by Open Society “Gal-EXPO” in Lviv from 11th till 14th March 2008 in the Sport comlex “Ukraina”. The exhibition program includes specialized seminars, presentations of companies and trade marks, as well as holding of competitions. Sika Ukraina is taking part for the first time. The seminar will be held by Sika’s Eastern Europe technical manager Zdenyk Miksovskiy. Theoretical and practical presentations about the characteristics and application of Sika’s materials and systems for wood floor coverings will be given to all Sika’s guests and dealers. 17-19.10.2007: Bridge Seminar Sika Ukraina organizes a seminar on the subject: «Sika systems for repairing and protection of bridge constructions». Many scientists, planners and civil engineers from all over Ukraine are invited to discuss this topic. Theoretical and practical presentations about the application of modern technologies and materials, both for repair and new construction of bridges and overpasses, will be given to the participants of this seminar. The seminar will take place in Slavskoe (Carpathians) from 17th till 19th of October. 28-29.09.2007: The corporate meeting of company Sika Ukraina The next corporate meeting of all Sika Ukraina employees will takes place in Odessa from 28th till 29th September. Besides the annual seminar, employees of the company will visit a cement plant and be acquainted with Sika solutions for cement manufacturers. 28-29.08.2007: Scientifically-practical seminar in Zhytomyr A scientifically-practical seminar has been organized by the company “Ukravtodor” in Zhytomyr from 28th till 29th August. The theme of the seminar was «Experience of monolithic plate application for reconstruction of bridges». Representatives of well known companies and organizations have shared their experience and knowledge in this area. Sika’s engineer had a presentation and explained solutions and technology from Sika for repairing and reconstruction of bridges. 21-23.06.2007: Construction conference in Kiev From 21st - 23rd, June, a conference with the subject «Modern problems of designing, building and maintenance of constructions on means of communications» has taken place in Kiev. Employees of Sika Ukraina have successfully participated in the conference and addressed the audience with a report on «Reconstruction and control testing of a road bridge by strengthening beams L=33,0m with bonded CRFP». It was the first application in the Ukraine and CIS of such a pre-strengthening system on reinforced concrete bridges for beams with a span of 33m. The report has attracted big interest among the present designers and builders. 23-27.05.2007: SIA 2007 On 23-27th of May, annual exhibition SIA will take place at the territory of International Exhibition Centre (pr. Visitors will be provided with all necessary information, leaflets and presentation CDs. 12-14.04.2006: International scientific and technical conference From 12-14th April, an international scientific and technical conference on "Modern problems of the road industry" took place in Kiev. The main organizer of the conference was the State Scientific Research Institute named after Shulgin. The participants of the conference got acquainted with various issues on designing, construction and operation of highways and ecology. Sika’s technical consultants successfully spoke on "Modern materials and technologies offered by Sika for repair and strengthening of bridge constructions ". 22-26.03.2006: Sika Ukraina’s participation in the 5th international building festival The 5th international building festival ‘’Building and Architecture 2006” will take place in Kiev from 22nd to 26th of March at the exhibition centre “Expoplaza” in Salutnaya str., 2B. Our representatives will introduce Sika’s materials and provide you with necessary information in the form of brochures, leaflets and presentation CDs. 01.03.2006: Seminar in Moscow On 1st March 2006 Sika Russia will organize an international transport congress for Sika customers and representatives of the Industry department. The subject of the seminar is “Production of means of transport”. 10 different companies from Ukraine, mainly bus builders, have been invited to take part in the seminar. 31.01.2006: Seminar in Moscow On 16th February 2006 Sika Russia will organize a seminar for Eastern Europe’s Sika representatives. The subject of the seminar is “Parquet Bonding”. The participants of the seminar will be acquainted with materials and different bonding methods. 7-8.12.2005: 1st Sika Steel Protection Seminar On 7th December the 1st Sika Steel Protection Seminar will be held in Yuzhny, Odessa region. The seminar is jointly organized by Sika and the partners: “Komodo” and “Alpservis”. The subject of this seminar is: "Modern systems for qualitative anticorrosive protection of steel constructions". Theoretical and practical issues on anticorrosive protection of steel constructions will be presented at the seminar. There will also be a product demonstration to show the application of Sika’s materials and technologies. 03.12.2005: Presentation of Sika materials Instructors of our company will present some Sika materials in the hypermarket “Epicenter 2”, Bolshaya Koltsevaya str., 1, Kiev. We invite everybody to visit our presentation which will take place on 3rd December from 11am to 3pm. 28.10.2005: Seminar in Kharkov On 27th October Sika’s dealer “Alpservis”, Kharkov, held a seminar on the application of Sika materials in construction. Trading, project and building companies participated in the seminar. 17.10.2005: Internal seminar for Sika staff On October, 14th 2005 an internal seminar for Sika staff was held in the Carpathian mountains. The seminar consisted of two parts: an official part - with reports of heads of departments on successes of the company for the first half-year and informal - practical exercises on the application of some Sika materials. With great pleasure all of our employees took part in demonstration displays which were carried out by the instructors of our company. 10.10.2005: Successful participation in the exhibition "Facade" Company "Sika Ukraina" has successfully taken part in the exhibition "Facade" which was held in the beginning of October in Dnepropetrovsk. Visitors of the exhibition have been acquainted with Sika materials and have taken part in demonstration displays. 22.06.2005: Now you can buy Sika materials in Epicenter In June Sika started it’s cooperation with one of the biggest building supermarkets Epicenter. Now you can find here adhesives, sealants, concrete additives and other Sika materials. 19.05.2005: Visit us at SIA 2005 Sika Ukraina will participate at SIA 2005 from 23.-29.05.2005 at the National Exhibion Centre in Kyiv to present bonding and dampening materials used in the transport industry.
